Visiting Vince Turco

February 15, 2009

I had a chance to visit Vince Turco in the summer and fall of 2008.  Vince is a fancier of a varity of birds.  He raises fifes, yorkshires, a variety of finches, and of course border canaries.  After talking to him and visiting him, it is obvious that his passion is birds and one of his favourite birds are border canaires.

Here are a few pictures and videos that I took when I visited Vince.

Vince in his birdroom.  His borders and fifes are on the left side and his yorkies and finches are kept on the right side.

Vince putting one of his borders on a shelf built for assessing his birds.

This lightly variegated yellow cock was 2nd best at the 2008 National Bird Show in Michigan.  Here is the full show

Borders on the viewing bench.  The videos have no sound so don't try to adjust the volume.
